Look—if you had one week, full of opportunities to save on everything you ever wanted, in one place, would you capture it? Or just let it slip?
Good news for those who’d pick the former! May 2nd–9th, 2021 is National Photo Week at Mike’s Camera, and we’ll be celebrating our abiding love for the craft with all kinds of savings and contests, open to everyone from long-time pros to folks looking for their very first camera. Ready to visit your favorite little local camera store? The festivities are on at all stores, all week, so come on down whenever! Most savings will be available at mikescamera.com as well, of course, but you’ll have to come on down to get the best bang for your buck or to meet & greet with manufacturer reps.

Win a $100 gift card or a brand new lens
Every in-store purchase you make between May 2nd through May 9th qualifies you for an entry in our contest. You can also just walk in and ask for an entry!
Each of our ten stores will pick a winner of a $100 gift card. If you’re a bit of a roamer, you can check out a few locations and increase your chances!
We will also be giving away two Tamron lenses (one in Colorado and one in California). Each winner will be able to choose between a 35–150mm f/2.8–4 Di VC OSD (Canon EF or Nikon F mount) or a 28–200mm f/2.8–5.6 Di III RXD (Sony E mount).
Whether you win or not, purchases of at least $250 will qualify for up to $100 in Bonus Bucks. Your Bonus Bucks will be redeemable June 1st–19th, 2021. That way, you’ll have a little time to spend with your new gear and determine the next step in your photographic journey. Whether you’re shopping for a gift for yourself or someone else, a purchase next week includes a gift for the future!
If you’re still not sure what to spend them on by the time June rolls around, come on in anyway—we love photography and all of its accoutrements, so one of our imaging experts would be happy to chat and help you figure it out. Bonus points if you bring in photos you are happy and/or unhappy with so we can help you zero in on the next steps and get to know you a little better.
We’ll be accepting trade-ins for store credit all week with no reservation necessary (though if you have a few things you’d like us to evaluate, it might be a good idea to call ahead). Now’s a great time to upgrade your kit, in anticipation of new and exciting adventures in a reopening world.
If you’re not ready to trade up but your kit could still use a little attention, we can help with that. We’re taking $10 off the price of all sensor cleaning services purchased during National Photo Week. (If you’re not sure why you’d need a cleaning, click here to see how big a difference a tiny spot can make!) Please allow a 6–8 business day turnaround due to the number of people we anticipate will jump on this sweet deal.

It wouldn’t be much of a Photo Week without visits from manufacturers of some of our favorite gear. These folks are the most knowledgeable resources you’ll find for their brands, so be sure to take advantage! Talk shop, get advice on gear you have, or get in-depth info on the latest and greatest.
Oh—and Marc from Tamron will be giving us the first look at the newly-announced 150–500mm for E mount, live and in-person! You won’t want to miss it!
Of course, saving on gear is only a way to enable better photography. The really important part is getting great pictures and video! We love seeing the magic that happens after you leave the store. Come back to show off and print your successes or drop a #mymikescamera on your Instagram post so we can ooh and ahh along with you!
Both Canon and Sony are too busy for Colorado, eh?
Unfortunately vendor representation is still extremely limited. I’m confident that we’ll see them again soon, though!
Your prices in the US are so much better than in UK
Maybe you can come visit sometime! 🙂
