That’s right, the promised firmware updates for Sony’s α7 III and α7R III have arrived, hot on the heels of a minor update to the α6000 and a major update to the α9. Back when the α6400 was announced, Sony assured users of its latest-gen full-frame cameras that some of the most exciting new features—like a built-in intervalometer and a greatly-improved Eye AF system—would be available to them as well, and today they have delivered on that promise. Direct links to the download pages for versions 3.0 are below, followed by the list of new features! As always, you are welcome to call or visit any Mike’s Camera location if you would like assistance in keeping your camera up to date and you can watch the Latest Firmware page on this blog for updates to your camera.
