No matter how you did, of course, there’s always more to learn. Whether you’ve got an NEX-3 or an α9, this is an excellent opportunity to speak directly to the source, and to open up your mind to new possibilities. Jeff will cover types of lenses—both general categories like “zoom,” “prime,” or “macro,” and Sony-specific designations like G-Master and Zeiss—as well as their inner workings, shedding light on aperture manipulation and illuminating those cryptic acronyms that trail off at the end of lens names.
