As innovative as ever, Fujifilm has announced two new and exciting products, both available February 9th, 2026.
The instax mini Link+ is a slim, handsome instant film printer designed to link with your smartphone.
The instax mini Evo Cinema is a hybrid instant camera, working as an instant camera, smartphone printer, and Super8-inspired video camera. A standout feature is a frame switch dial allowing you to instantly try on looks emblematic of decades from the 1930s to the 2020s.

instax mini Evo Cinema

Immediately striking, the instax mini Evo Cinema promises a totally novel user experience. Touted as a three-in-one device, it can function as an instant camera, retro-oriented camcorder, or smartphone printer. (Yes, just install the app and you can print whatever you’d like via Bluetooth.) If you’re intrigued by this one over other instax instant cameras, though, you’re most likely primarily interested in the video capabilities and the strange, strange filter dial on the side.
First, that dial. From Fuji: “with 10 Era effects (from the grainy charm of the 1930s to the refined edge of the 2020s) and 10 degrees of expression, you can master 100 unique ways to shoot, making every frame feel unmistakably yours. For added fun and creativity, use the Frame Switch and discover a frame for every Era, each echoing the look and feel of devices that defined that time.” Sometimes, pre-made effects can be just the ticket to finding your own expression. A little restraint never hurt anyone’s creative output. I know that I am personally quite eager to test this feature.
As for video, the camera will automatically stitch together videos of up to 15 seconds, shot in series, staying true to the film/tape experience. Further editing is quickly and easily doable using the companion app on your smartphone. The video, of course, fully supports the built-in effects described above (and more).
But how can you make a print of a video, you wonder? Fujifilm offers a clever solution: free cloud storage for your videos for up to 24 months via the app and QR codes pointing to those videos. Make a print featuring one frame with that QR code embedded in the image. Bada-bing, bada-boom! And these film prints look great with a printed resolution of 318 dpi.
I love to see creative designs like these. Head on over here if you are as well, and get in line for the February 9th release!

instax mini Link+

Whether you’re printing selfies on the spot for the squad to take home, slowly covering your fridge with peaceful scenes (and/or memes), or building a tiny album of things that inspire you, the freedom of an instant printer is an empowering delight. Any image you can get into your smartphone can be set free—on film. The instax mini Link+ uses instax mini film and the free companion app to bring concreteness to your digital dreamworld… instantly.
As on other instax instant cameras, you can choose between classic film simulation or rich clarity when you print, but the mini Link+ adds a brand-new mode (“Design Print Mode”) which significantly enhances the clarity of text and other fine details. That’s important when you’re trying to make the most of your 2×3 film! You can design collages and test out frames in-app before printing, too. And of course it charges via USB-C for your on-the-go convenience.
