Canon owners, take note: new firmware is available for the EOS RP and for the EOS 90D, as well as the BG-E22 battery grip. The “cinematic” 24 fps setting has been added to both cameras, lens support has improved, and bugs have been squashed. Links are below to get you started on your update!

EOS RP Firmware version 1.4.0
- The option to capture Full HD movies in the frame rate of 23.98p has been added.
- Support for the RF 85mm F1.2L USM DS lens has been added.
EOS 90D Firmware version 1.1.1
- The option to capture both 4K and Full HD movies in the frame rate of 23.98p has been added.
- Fixes an issue where error code “Err 01” may be displayed when using EF 85mm f/1.8 USM or EF 100mm f/2 USM lenses.
BG-E22 Firmware Update version 1.0.1 [EOS R Battery Grip]
Corrects a phenomenon where some cases the battery may not be charged through the BG-E22 when using the PD-E1 USB power adapter depending on the condition of the battery being used.
