Coming very soon to a Mike’s Camera near you, the EOS Rebel SL3 is Canon’s smallest and lightest EOS DSLR camera to date. Weighing in a few grams lighter than 2017’s already-tiny SL2, the SL3 is perfect for someone who wants a totable, stylish camera without compromising on the quality of Canon’s venerable EOS Rebel line.

Canon has continued to refine their signature, eye-hunting Dual Pixel Autofocus system, and it really is an outstanding solution for DSLRs. The coverage on the SL3 is up to 100% of the sensor’s height and 88% of its width.
The video features on the SL3 really set it apart from its brethren. Until this announcement, the least-expensive Canon EOS DSLR to feature 4K video recording was the EOS 5D Mark IV. To say that this camera brings that capability to a broader range of imaging enthusiasts is a massive understatement! The SL3 also allows you to convert any frame in a 4K video to an 8 MP picture, providing a lot of flexibility in capturing The Moment. The in-body stabilization goes a long way toward making capturing great video easy, and the built-in guide modes will help anyone start taking amazing photos right away.
