See more, carry less with compact, elegant FUJIFILM X-T30 III and FUJINON XC13–33mm lens

Fuji has announced a new one-two combo that ought to catch the eye of anyone looking to make the stride into the wonderful world of interchangeable lens cameras. The FUJIFILM X-T30 III brings key upgrades to this smart-yet-affordable series, while the FUJINON XC13–33mm f/3.5–6.3 OIS introduces a new wide–normal zoom range at a fraction of the size (and cost) of the FUJINON XF 16-55mm F2.8 R LM WR. The kit is highly portable—a perfect choice for everyday carry, unencumbered travel, and spontaneous creativity.

Both the new camera and new lens have been built for ease-of-use and incredible color rendition. Independently or in unison, these are the sort that can let you live your life and capture it, too. Simple efficiency enables expert expression without wounding the way it’s just plain fun.

Stand-alone bodies should be available November 24th, with kits following in mid-December and stand-alone lenses at the end of January. It’s not uncommon to see significant shortages of Fujifilm products due to demand, so visit us online or in-store to place your pre-order today!

The X-T30 III retains the appealing size, weight, timeless design, and well-tested 26.1 MP X-Trans CMOS 4 sensor of its predecessor but offers a whole new processor (the X-Processor 5) and several other important upgrades. For example, fueled by the new power of the X-Processor 5, the X-T30 III is capable of 6.2K 30p video recording and its autofocus algorithm lays claim to a diverse host of subjects which can be accurately detected and tracked, thanks to a backbone built on deep learning. Battery life specs are also moderately improved.

Just as important, if not more so, are the physical upgrades of the camera’s body. Leaning into the undeniable, unique appeal of Fuji color, the X-T30 III offers a dedicated hardware dial for selection of film simulation modes, including three positions for custom color-mode recipes. The camera offers 20 of these much-treasured “films,” adding some (like REALA ACE and NOSTALGIC neg.) that were developed since the mark II’s release. As for customizability, each film simulation can be further tweaked using adjustments to Grain Effect, Color Tone, Highlights, and more.

The other physical dials may either make you salivate or sweat, depending on your comfort with the principles of photography, but don’t worry—there’s an easily accessible auto switch to make life easy, as well. It’ll even remember to pop up the built-in flash, if necessary. Nail the look, nail the focus, and look good yourself while you’re doing it? Sold!

The X-T30 III will be available with black, silver, or charcoal silver accents, all three of which will be available as stand-alone bodies or in a kit with the brand new FUJINON XC13–33mm f/3.5–6.3 OIS lens (see below).

While the new lens is not quite a “pancake lens,” at only 1.47″ in length (when closed), it’s an extraordinarily good option when you need something light to take on your next flight, on your next flight, and for everything in between. Don’t let the tiny size fool you: the minimum focusing distance across the whole range is only 7.87″ and the OIS promises up to four stops of shake correction, so you’ll be able to push it a little, no matter the situation you encounter. Nine aperture blades will help keep the image looking smooth and natural, too. Lenses on their own are going to be a little later to the party (if you want this lens this year, you’ll have to order it in a kit with the X-T30 III), but you can still pre-order now to make sure you don’t wait a day more than you have to!
