Panasonic Lumix G9 & GH5S firmware update

Here’s a quick update with some great news for Panasonic users! Firmware updates for both the Lumix G9 and Lumix GH5S are now available. Both seemed to suffer from the same bug, which has now been corrected. In Panasonic’s words:

Picture freeze at burst recording using an external flash when camera is set to AFC/AFF and LVF frame rate 120fps, has been improved.

It’s great to see continued support from a manufacturer for users who have already purchased a camera. Thanks, guys!

Be sure and keep an eye on our Latest Firmware page (click here or use the link in the menu, above) to make sure you’re as up to date as you can be. The more people actually download updates, the more likely it is that manufacturers will keep making them, so do yourself—and the whole community—a favor by keeping current.
